Side Gable Lofted Sheds

This style features a side-gable roof combined with an interior loft — giving you a second level for storage while preserving ground-level space. It includes 6′ double doors for easy access and enjoys all standard build quality: pressure-treated skid/joist flooring, over-the-door flashing, ridge venting (unless a different roof is selected), and is hurricane-rated for up to 160 mph winds. It’s a strong choice if you want extra vertical storage without expanding the shed’s footprint.

Side Gable Sheds

With its classic side-gabled roof and 6′ double doors, this shed delivers a simple, efficient layout ideal for storing larger equipment or creating an open workspace. The straightforward design makes it one of the most traditional and versatile shed styles. Built with a pressure-treated floor and skid system, over-door flashing for added protection, and ridge venting for improved airflow, it provides reliable, long-lasting performance backed by a 10-year workmanship warranty.

Side Lofted Barn Sheds

This barn-style shed adds a loft inside for overhead storage, paired with the classic barn-shed exterior and 6′ double doors for access. The loft increases usable storage capacity without increasing the building footprint — useful for seasonal gear, smaller tools, or seldom-used items. It offers the same weather-resistant build: pressure-treated flooring and skid undercarriage, over-door flashing, ridge vent (for ventilation), and 160 mph wind-rating.

Lofted Barn Sheds

Like the Side Lofted Barn but with a spacious loft, 6′ double doors, and a primary entry door located on the gable end for convenient access. The tall barn roof creates generous interior clearance, making both ground-level and overhead storage more efficient. This design is ideal for anyone needing maximum storage capacity in a compact footprint. Built with a treated floor and skid system, over-door flashing, ridge ventilation, and framing engineered for high wind loads, it delivers dependable performance in demanding Florida conditions.

Single Slope Sheds

The Single Slope Shed is our most economical option, featuring a straightforward single-sloped roof and 4′–6′ double-door configurations. Its simple design makes it ideal for homeowners seeking a cost-effective storage solution for tools, garden equipment, or seasonal items. While it does not include a loft or peaked A-frame roof, it remains highly functional, offering a durable treated floor, skid system, and over-door flashing for protection against the elements. Hurricane-rated for Florida conditions, it provides reliable performance, though it may not have the enhanced airflow benefits of ridge-vented gable or barn-style sheds.

FAQs About Sheds

Yes, most new construction in Florida requires a permit. Each area must follow the Florida Building Code unless local authorities set their own rules. Requirements differ by location, check out our Shed Permits in Florida blog to learn more about specific requirements.

Technically, there’s no such thing as a completely hurricane-proof shed, any structure has its limits when exposed to the extreme forces of a major storm. However, a shed can be made highly resistant to hurricane damage by using materials, structural designs, and construction methods specifically engineered to stand up to high winds and flying debris. These choices won’t make the shed indestructible, but they can greatly reduce the likelihood of serious damage during a hurricane. Learn more about Hurricane-Rated Sheds.

Florida wind ratings show how well a structure, like a shed, garage, or cabin, can withstand strong winds during hurricanes. These ratings are based on state building codes and vary by location. Wind-rated sheds use reinforced materials, stronger connections, and proper anchoring to stay secure.
